The robust construction gives high pumping speed at high pressure. The cast and machined aluminium interior provides consistent performance, while the stainless steel body prevents corrosion and ensures process cleanliness.

These pumps are designed to give a high throughput (pressure multiplied by pumping speed) at 4x10-3 mbar making them ideal for industrial processes that involve large quantities of gases.

Product Features

NOOOOOTHREE PROVEN DESIGNS

they are supplied in three types: standard, manually operated (M-model pumps), standard pneumatically operated (P-model pumps) and unvalved (C-collar model pumps).

xxxxOIL FREE

ensures clean vacuum, low power and low vibration.  the use of magnetic bearings eliminates all hydrocarbon lubricants.

VIBRATION FREE

magnetic levitation means no friction and thus extremely low vibration, in addition this remains constant and does not change as parts wear.

AUTOMATIC BALANCING SYSTEM

Edwards 5-axis pumps are able adjust the magnetic field dynamically to take out rotor imbalances.

MAINTENANCE FREE

zero friction means no wear and thus no routine maintenance is required in normal operation.
